Somewhat Impractical Vessels

This assignment was a good opportunity to learn more about the Loft, Sweep Rail, and Revolve tools in Rhino 6, as well as finding creative ways to turn abstract forms into vessels. While some of these probably wouldn't be practical for holding anything, I still think I was able to make some interesting shapes. They can't exactly hold flowers or anything, but any of these would be cool just to have.

All of the vessels, lined up and rendered:

Out of these 10 vessels, I think my favorite would be the last one. After making a pentagon shape, I cut and pasted it, using the rotate and scale tools to create variation moving up the object. I then used the Loft tool to create the object, and it came out as an interesting twisted shape that keeps the eye moving when viewing it. It was also the only vessel where I knew what it would look like beforehand; the others were basically just me messing around to see what would happen. Overall this project was an interesting look at the different tools in Rhino 6, and I feel like I learned a lot.
