Vessel Mashup Project
For the final project in my OBDF 110 class, I worked together with Max Gurtler to create a mashup of two vessels that we had designed for the previous project. In the end we agreed on an object that, while probably impractical for actually holding anything, would definitely be an interesting object to have as a decoration or art statement. We messed around with a few different concepts, but in the end this is the object that we came up with. The Object This was the mashup that we came up with. The lower half is made out of one of Max's objects, and the top half is made from one of mine. One of the problems that I ran into was with my vessel; when I capped it, it placed a cap in each section of the object, and it was difficult to separate and delete them because for some reason they'd attached themselves to another part of the vessel.
